Born in Hamilton, Ohio, March 29, 1956' to the late Shirley and Margaret Carver Flack, he was a machinist for Brownings.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Margaret Back.He is survived by his wife, Mattie Estep Flack; a son, Harley Douglas (Brandy) Flack, Robertson County; a daughter, Christina Flack (Rickey) Price, Robertson County; three brothers, Nelson "Nick" (Debbie) Flack, Robertson County, Benny Joe Flack, Robertson County, Eddie Gene Flack, Montgomery County; a sister, Eva Marie Adams, Bath County; two brothers-in-law, Alvin (Lisa) Estep, Germantown and Luke England, Mount Olivet; and three grandchildren, Hunter Crump, Haley Flack and Addisston Flack; and his special family, Tanner Flack, Maggie Flack, Jacob Flack, Sarah Beth Flack, Sophia Insko, Jaxton Estep, Jaydon Rogers, Hunter Caudill, Nicholas (Ally) Flack, Samantha (Jason) Insko, Scotty (April) Estep, Latasha Estep, Becky (Jeremey) Caudill and Tina (Mike) Rogers.Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m., Tuesday at Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Born July 26, 1927, in Fleming County on McRoberts Road, she was the daughter of the late Harlan and Mary Belle Dyer Ratliff.Ivetta was retired from U.S. Shoe after 27 years of service. She was also a farmer.She was the widow of the late Glenn Irvin Hester, whom she married on Aug. 13, 1945, and who passed away on May 5, 2001. To their union were born four children, Garnetta Applegate and husband, Larry of Tollesboro, the late David Franklin “Frankie” Hester, Margaret Jewell Harper and husband, Bob of Tram, and Libby Hester of Muses Mills.She is also survived by her grandchildren, David Applegate, Mary Ann Tully, Brian Hester, Nickie Smith, Kenny Hamilton, Bambi Case, Adam Logan, Cristy Logan; seven step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 16 step great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; a special nephew, Dewey Gulley and wife, Elsie; a special niece, Kathy Reeves; sisters-in-law, Betty Carver and husband, Charlie and Eddis Hester; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, husband and son, Ivetta was preceded in death by her brother, Jessie Richard Ratliff; her sister, Lottie Lee Ratliff; and her grandson, James Kevin Steffey.
